Hypocrisy

You think that the Church kills only for personal power?
We kill you because in death we hope that you find some
sense of the way things should be, in the hope that you
will come to us. It is a drastic measure and one that we
use only in the most drastic situations.
On the other hand, we are often forced to defend ourselves
from attacks by you and yours, and as such we use the
skills given to us and erect magnificient shrines to the
Gods, both as forms of worship and as a defense for those
who use them to worship.
I can certainly see why Sartan would not like the shrines
we erect to honour Him and the other Gods, as we often use
them to defend against His servant's attacks, but it is
nonetheless a rite that honours Him as well, that we use to
build the shrines.
If you choose to laugh at the Church, that is your choice.
I'd say that I find the promise of your eternal damnation
amusing, but I don't. It only makes me sad.
Israfel.
