Hypocrisy

It is easy for you, a member of the Occultist guild, to call
the Church a hypocritical organization. You have no standards
that you strive to uphold.

Members of the Church are mortal, and as such we fail at even
the noblest of endeavors at times. We do our best, however,
which is something that those of decadent Ashtan cannot claim.
When you immerse yourself in such complete apathy for every-
thing but personal power and perhaps power for your city, you
provide nothing that makes this world a better place, and thus
you are worthless as a part of this land.

I pity you. Join the side of the Church. We are forgiving, we
would welcome any among you that are true in their effort to
reform their ways, in their effort to become righteous and good.

As a sidenote, I'd like to point out the fact that if ever there
were a hypocritical organization, it would be the Infernal Knights.
They claim honour and show none, they claim to be chivalrous, but
again, they do not show it.

In the end, we can point fingers all we want. It doesn't prove
much to either side, though, does it?

Israfel.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Mayan, in the year 249 AF.
