i personally see it as an altar and not as a shrine. Everyone should devote thir lives to the Gods and one way is to kneel to these altars, showing our humility and respect to them. I think if a God chooses to lay an altar down for us to bow to then that is his choice, not ours. As i may not agree with the ways of evil, we might have shallamites who follow the ways of evil or is a follow of Sartan. We must give the person or people the right to pray to he altar. I dont believe, however, the basilica is the best place for it. But questioning a Gods actions is not a right for myself or any mortal.
