pardon me?

Personally, I fail to see the logic in your resentment for this shrine: if you were trying to erect your war machines all over the blasted continent of Sapience, claiming wholeheartedly the whole time that you were "representing all of the gods" with them, then why in Eris's name would you bitch about having just another god's shrine in the church's basilica? As far as I'm concerned, the church's original intent WAS to honour the gods. What better way to embrace the situation of Sartan's shrine than to accept it and see if you can't get more gods to place their shrines in the same location?

Unless, of course, you're too narrowminded or ignorant to acknowledge the fact that the whole purpose of your aforementioned "shrines=all gods" statement was just cooked up to try and keep people from hating shrines even more...

May your hand never be as cramped as mine from scribing, or your mind too clouded with ignorance to neglect little inconsistencies,

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Mayan, in the year 249 AF.
