I have come to write this for a sad reason. I have betrayed your trust in me and I wish to apologize in public for my actions. Over the past few years you and I have formed a special relationship, and even though we were not yet formally engaged we had an understanding. But on more than one occasion I have been with other women and for that I am truly sorry. I have no excuse at all for what I have done, what I've done has caused you to cry and that's something I can never live down for as long as I live.
I apologize to you because I took the trust of the most loving woman I've ever known, someone who loved me without reservation, and threw it back in her face. I apologize because I wasn't man enough to tell you of what I had done when I did it, but I also apologize with the hope that you will forgive me for what I have done. I know that it's impossible for you to fully forgive me, but if you could find it within your heart not to despise me I would be eternally indebted to you. Please, I beg you to accept my apology and grant me a small amount of forgiveness for my inexcusable actions.
