Surveying

Mistral,

You are correct in that the ability to survey is useful for
determining basic information about your surroundings. However,
you will notice that if you are standing inside of Ashtan
and survey your surroundings, you will be informed that you
are not just in a city, but specifically in Ashtan.

I am aware, being that Survey is the second ability in
Survival, that not everyone has this ability. I did not
address my article to Everyone though, I addressed it to
Napoloen whom I know has the ability to survey.

I do not claim that the road in question belongs to
the Church. However, for those of us with the ability
to survey our surroundings, it is obvious that it is not
part of Ashtan either. This is my only contention.
Napoloen seems to think that EVERYONE concedes that it is
the case, but he is wrong.

If Ashtan does not want shrines erected along the road
north of Thera and south of the gates of Ashtan, that is one
thing, but to have it declared that everyone accepts that
the road is part of Ashtan and its property is something
else entirely.
