So it all boils down to association.
The way I view it, you're stating that since his guild declared a fued with the Church, he *deserves* death.
On that premise, I believe that the Church should actually follow the same code. Why they can use such a *code* to justify their killing Deathblade is beyond me, as they do NOT spread that principle amongst themselves.
When *1* Churchmember commits an act of violence, ill-justice, or of dishonourability, then the ENTIRE Church should be held responsible. Why is it fair to judge 1 person for something his Guild does, and sentence him to death? Who the hell gave them that power?
Above all, what intrigues me the most is how you yourself said his guild was at War with the Church, as Dalamar, nor Nuitari are *official* members of the Church. Why would that have anything to do with why he was killed? Did you also take for granted the lack of official Word that Dalamar is actually *not* a member of the Church? I know 80 percent of Achaea does, and to be honest, when I hear the word Church, I picture Dalamar.
Again, as I have withdrawn myself from these silly grade school wartime antics, I can only silently view this facade from afar.
I can promise you all however, that if Hashan, or the Kharon are forced to become involved in this premature display of aggression, I will personally bring with me the purest energy of aggression, and I will skip the warm up acts that seem to be the fad across the land.
