festivals

Well, dispite the poor planetary alignment that caused the timing of the New Year's festival of Thanksgiving to be just a little inconvenient, we managed to pull it off.
As this was the first of the Festivals in the works, I did not expect it to go off without a hitch. There were many hitches.
I would like to personally scold all the disrepectful people in attendance who talked through the liturgy, and pounced on the booze like half-starved wolves... no, we have better manners than that.
But I am tired, so I'm not going to bother.
I would like to thank Kazin for his beautiful and inspiring liturgy, and Kei and Rufus for scrambling for cash and supplies at the last minute with me.
The next festival will be the Festival of Gaia. All will be welcome, but will be required to bring an offering for the Lady.
(This is to make sure you aren't there just for the booze.)
Time and place will be posted shortly.
I am starting small, each festival will be more enjoyable than the last as we test the waters. Look forward to contests, games and prizes at the future festivals and more involved rituals surrounding them.
(Don't worry, there will be plenty of refreshments at all of them as well.)
Love to you,
Cynne Ravenwind

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Sarapin, in the year 237 AF.
