murder

Murder is killing of an innocent. Execution is killing of someone guilty of
some crime. You happily and freely admit to murdering Mhun, therefore
I will kill you.

What the Church did was also execution, insofar as they decided I was guilty of something. Now, you could, of course, simply decide that the Mhun are
guilty of something, but you'd just be intentionally lying, like Servelan.

As for you Laergon, you are a fool. I have never supported the Church's cause.
The Church and I have some common goals, but my goal is not theirs. For instance, their pompous
decision that Ashtan is under their rule is ridiculous, as I'm sure anyone
would agree. Putting a piece of metal (ie a shrine) somewhere doesn't give
you jurisdiction.
Furthermore, whether or not I had mind locked Servelan is irrelevent. The
charge is that I commanded her to attack Epicurus, not that I mind locked her.
Is everyone here so incredibly incapable of logic as to miss these fairly
obvious distinctions? I don't think so, but apparently most of the posters
are.
Penned by my hand on the 18th of Miraman, in the year 183 AF.
