Just a quick news post to kick off our festival planning!

I am Mhuswys, and I will be the planning director for the Asterian Festival this time around. We also have our illustrious team of City/Village organizers as well!

OENAE for Ashtan
SAMIRRAH for Cyrene
TASHIGAWA for Eleusis

We have been tasked by the Lord Bard to organize this coming Asterian Festival - planned to be in 1018 AF! We are all very excited to do this work and appreciate the chance to help lead our respective groups. Each city/village will receive ONE MONTH during the festival (from Serenade to Serenade) to present their city's culture, history, learning, and whatever else.

The theme for this upcoming Asterian Festival is CELEBRATION! How does each culture (whether city-based, Order-based, knighthood-based, or otherwise!) historically celebrate? This is also an invitation to synthesize your culture's past and history into building a NEW tradition, and to present it as part of the Festival!

Orders are invited to take a day or few to present a ritual, celebration, or festival in celebration of their Divine. I have attempted to reach out to each Order and will be following up.

The Guild of Knights are also invited, and I have begun working with them as well.

Additionally, Zargoth expressed an interest in having something for rogues, and I have appointed him leader for the rogue outreach and planning.

If you're part of a city/village, knighthood, Order, or just want to participate otherwise, I encourage you to reach out to the city/village organizer, your Order lead, Sir Aodfionn for the knights, Zargoth for rogues, or just contact me directly!

As an aside, myself and many of our organizers are quite young! We have a lot of energy, but there are also many things we do not know, myself especially! I will be reading up more in-depth on past Asterian Festivals beyond what I have already read, but I also appreciate any and all guidance from the rest of you! I may not think of certain things, so let me know your comments, critique, and other feedback!

If there were events or features that you particularly enjoyed from previous festivals - let me know! From my readings, I especially appreciated the journaling activities, which seemed like a lot of fun.

It's early on in the planning, but I will be posting follow-ups periodically to the Asterian Restoration clan news, and main announcements here to Public!
