Your Pitied Request

Addressed to: Priestess Cascia, Tenth Tempest-General of Blessed Phocia
Phocian sergeant Cascia,
It is a true and honoured art to bring lament by striking at what is held dear. One in which you fail by trying to use it on a priest of Oblivion.
Yet, for an attack on our own, a twofold lesson is meted. One is a pair of spectacles, that you can distinguish the true source of your woe from that which would bring you a trouble much greater. The second is the death of your puny garrison, that you know how one is properly made to weep.
Now, I hear word that in your lamentation, you rejected our gift of altar to your true Destiny, and asked it removed.
By the Seven-fingered gauntlet of Ruin,
If you want our mercy, you will beg.
Penned by my hand on the 1st of Lupar, in the year 1004 AF.
