For all who hold honour in their hearts as Knights or aspiring Knights of an order and to those who are not enemies of the Hearth,

I extend to you a hand in solemn fellowship.

On or around the 19th day of Daedalan, 944, we shall lay Sir Gladius Dorn to rest at the site where the Spire of Sacraments shall one day rise. There, in eternal vigil, he will watch over all he cherished, a guardian in death as he was in life.

To this ceremony, we invite not only those who call Targossas home, but any soul who walks the path of honour as a Knight or future Knight, who remembers to serve something greater than oneself. Though you may stand as enemies to the Hearth in the contests of our age, if you bear the dignity of your station with integrity, you are welcome here.

For this day only, amnesty is offered to all Knights who come in peace to bear witness. Set aside your blades. Leave enmity at our gates. Come instead as what you are, warriors who understand the weight of duty, the cost of conviction, the loneliness of the long watch.

Let us honour one who carried such burdens longer than most could bear.

Let us remember that even champions bleed.

Let us commit his bones to stone and his memory to the ages, that the Spire of the Eastern Sacraments which will rise above him might stand as a testament, some oaths endure when Redemption is offered to those who seek it.

Come bearing only your presence and your respect, and it shall be enough.

May Creation hold him gently now.
