Hypocrisy

Sir Kresslack,

You, Sir, are nothing but a blood-soaked hypocrite of the highest order.

Tell me; do you only oppose claims of territory when it conveniences you? Do you only oppose claims of territory when it strikes too close to home? Do you only oppose claims of territory when they are made peacefully and without conflict?

Where was this concern over the right to land when Cyrene's bloody heel crushed Ka'doloki underfoot? The Aalen? The dozens of other territories claimed by the Imperial legions?

You dare, in one breath, to decry the nobility of feeding people and slaying beasts in a land acquired through peaceful means, to decry the blood that may come to be spilled upon it over the Chaghut dissent of the Countess' claim, and in that same breath say nothing about Cyrene? You would waste so much of your breath in self-satisfying farce, yet hold your tongue over the atrocities perpetrated by the Empire in which you enjoy citizenship?

Where is this noble duty, Sir Kresslack Matrose, Lord of the Spire, to ride to battle when it comes to protecting Sapience from you?

I call you naught but a hypocrite in this post, Sir, because if I were to call you aught else you deserved, THEN we would truly see "spilled ink".

If you seek to topple an Empire for its "noble intent", start at home, hypocrite.
