Dawnlord,

In the drama of the day, some events go quietly in the night. There has been much to keep up with, from the incursions of Ironbeard and Flintbeard, to the march of the would-be Imperiate of Pelagia to shatter promises made with quiet whispers to silence the cries of the weak.

Still, I cannot help but notice you have taken in a blasphemer, and so quickly after his unceremonious tumble from the mountain. Indeed, this invertebrate finds himself unwanted even by the West, infamous for our willingness to give anyone and everyone a chance to find their own spine.

Do you know of this one's crimes? Do you know what led him to flee from Darkness - even if they have forgotten - and to fail even at slavery? I am going to assume you must not be aware, because the esteemed Light and Fire certainly would not abide such wretched foolishness, and so I will tell you. I pray you will understand the mistake you have made.

Arcturus left Hashan because they lightly slapped him on the wrist, years later, for words spoken in hubris again and again; for his belief he is above the Divine and can wag his tongue freely in disrespect of Them. He left Mhaldor when I told him his only path forward was to publicly admit he is wrong, to accept his place - beneath his betters - and humble himself before the world. Indeed, it was this singular slight to his ego that led him to throw himself off the side of our lofty place above the rest of you and beg for succor at your gates.

I will leave you with the words he shared with me when I told him to stop talking:
"This world and its Divine that you believe you know are merely a spec of my existence."

Tabethys Aristata,
Tyrannus of Mhaldor,
Champion of GOD
