Imyrr Invictus,
You state that Ashtan conquered most everyone on Sapience at one point or another, but in the same sentence you claim Ashtan was never interested in the Aalen. You'll have to forgive me for drawing the conclusions that I did and not assuming you would have the gall to attempt to conquer the Garden of the Gods. If you had only told me your plans, perhaps I would not have rallied Cyrene against your city. I would have enjoyed witnessing the consequences of your hubris.
Eoka did indeed bring up concerns about the validity of the journal I compiled. She called it a work of fiction because I included a news post in it that stated, "Together we liberated the Aalen Forest while fighting off a number of undead and Ashtani." In her letter to me, Eoka included in her argument the following, "I spoke to every person who was there that month, including those not of the Cult in case you do not trust their recollection of events, and they provided corroborating records of memory wherein not a single Eleusian nor Targossian fell to an Ashtani in any of the fights that took place within the Aalen." She fails to note that Cyrenians were killed by Ashtani during that battle. We fought both undead and Ashtani at the Battle of the Aalen. To refute that requires logic that one would expect from someone who chooses to advocate for Chaos over Creation.
I understand your desire to be on the right side of history and accept that you might have had other reasons for attacking us outside of assisting the undead. Though one wonders how you didn't understand at the time that attacking those liberating territory of the Demise would, in fact, be helping the Demise. I'm surprised at the fervent denial as well, for it was not the only time Ashtan interceded in a battle against undead. Ashtani forces nearly prevented the liberation of the Dakhota Hills on Sarapin 20th, 914AF. Again, I'm only stating facts here, not stating intention. I'll leave it to everyone else to draw their own conclusions of your intentions.
