In accordance with my duties as an aspirant to Gaian Knighthood and a servant of Nature, I formally declare my personal enmity towards Mhaldor.

The city of Evil is not chosen for this declaration because it is unique in its corruption, but because it is consistent. Among the many threats to Her realm, Mhaldor stands as one of the most obvious -- and as such, must be opposed.

I expect no easy path ahead, as I hold no illusions about your skill or my own current strength. I will welcome the scars of your brutality as teachers, and if defeat should be the price of growth, I will gladly pay it -- knowing that it will only serve to sharpen the thorns that will find their place in your side once more.

For a period of five years from this day, I will seek you out, and welcome you to do the same in return, when I will aspire to meet all engagements with honour and clarity of purpose. Let resolve and conflict serve as the language through which we make our positions known.
