Moving On

Ladies, Gentlemen, and Fae-folk,

Putting Ulvin's disrespect and indecency properly aside, I come to you all with a different invitation on a matter that some of you have already begun to address.

The Lady Ferenthal was, as you all know, once the Muse of Lightweaving. She was companion to the Lord Bard; she was friend and beloved. It was not only the Lord Bard's sacrifice that empowered her to mend the unravelling skein of Love and halt the devastation it wrought on Creation, but Ferenthal's own determination to give all of who she was to save all of us. Her choice was tragic and, in the true nature of a Muse, inspiring.

This inspiration calls upon us all to embrace the fullness of who we are, to live and love wholly and without reservation, to look to the future but to remember the past. Should light, beauty, love, heartbreak, loss, and sacrifice resonate in your heart, I invite you to turn to Art.

Paint. Sing. Compose music and poetry. Dance. Bear out your sorrows and joys upon the stage. Rejoice the Lightweaver, Ferenthal-That-Was, and celebrate Lady Ferenthal, Witness-That-Is. Grieve for what was given, freely and for the sake of mortalkind, and in return give thanks through Art. Let the Lord Bard see you moved by the heroism of His Muse, and remember all she stands for.

In the words of the Lord Bard, do not forget to remember.

In Song,
Taelle Starling

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Mayan, in the year 984 AF.
