The Tide also recedes

Sentry,

You misconstrue my words when you speak about Mhaldor and souls, but that was a minor point in my overall piece.

Instead, I wish to turn to you idea that the Pretender of the Sea is a god emperor. "His domain" ends where the sea meets the shore, as floods go in, as they did in Cyrene, they also go out, just as tides do - water is well known to evaporate and be unable to completely overtake all land. For as there is a main contenient, there are also islands, such as Mhaldor itself is.

I do not wish to add yet another God that represents an aspect of nature to which I must refute, but such seems to be my fate.

How, when one can avoid the sea, ocean, water and drowning on a whole so easily - indeed all it requires is prickly pear or another mineral - can the God of that domain ever be the God Emperor of all dominion?

I think your sailors legs have spread to your brain, as your point is as shakey as they come.

Lord Sartan is the One true God Emperor of all Dominion, and you are correct, it is not a title to be worn lightly, but it is a title Lord Sartan wears well.

Director Jems Aristata,
Druid of His Red Isle

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Miraman, in the year 976 AF.
