Tyrannus,
Your sudden concern for the goblinoids of Dun Fortress is touching, if somewhat perplexing.
Allow me to clear up some misconceptions:
First. The Guardian's Hearth does not defend the abominations of Dun Fortress any more than we would protect the undead or beings of Chaos. Their wholesale excision is, and always has been, essential to the mission of those who serve Good. Those forces and obstacles that inhibit Creation from flourishing must be removed.
Second. The goblinoids do not represent 'potential'. They are beings who have been stripped of soul and creativity by the Tsol'teth, and fashioned into little more than frontline troops.
Third. False sanctimony is to suddenly express concern and interest in a people after you have spent a lifetime slaying them. And what about the other villages of the continent? Do you think the tens of thousands killed by the typical dragons feel any differently from the grumbling goblinoids, and actually wish to be slaughtered?
Finally, to the rest of the world: the recent behavior and complaints from the creatures of Dun Valley are a curiosity, yes, but do they truly represent a change in their nature or are they an indication of meddling from an as yet known party? Observers should reflect on the timing of all of this, and who from recent events might have actually inspired this sudden grumbling.
