Earlier this month, I was asked to pass on a message. To be fair, the message was for my city but given that other cities are involved I feel it's my duty to pass on the message to everyone.

Landon wants Ashtan, Hashan, and Mhaldor to know that by his decree (Apologies, Lord Neraeos, I am just the messenger) We are no longer permitted to sail. He will not parley. He will not be paid off. His only goal and desire is to sink our ships until you comply with his command:

Leave your home, friends, family, and culture to join one of the "Landon Approved" cities, or remain cityless... Or simply stop going out to sea.

Now, I assume he MEANT to say that he'll hunt those sailors he knows for a fact he can sink. The fisherfolk in their wind cutters, the explorers, those simply trying to get from point A to point B. Certainly not pirate or naval organizations with well-seasoned crews who can stand up to him.

He even took a moment to brag about one such person who - in his words - has "already learned his lesson."

Of course, Cyrene and Targossas were absent from this threat. So long as the political winds stay stable, these two cities are safe. I mean, thatshouldn't be a problem. It's not like alliances have changed for even a moment over the last decade, right?

Oh, and Eleusis is probably safe... I mean, unless somehow Eleusis and Landon have a falling out and he decides to target them as well.

Now, as for me? I don't bow to threats. Sure, I might die a lot, but I would rather die than obey the orders of a single man who thinks he can dictate who sails upon the seas, and who cannot.

Anyway, the message has been passed on. Mhaldor and Hashan, if you have issues with it remember that I am just the messenger. I would bid you reach out to Landon himself, who issued the threats, or to Eleusis who harbours him.
