I sail for leisure with my daughter as time allows. Too seldom do I have the minutes to spare though. Rather than wandering the seas looking for random vessels to prey upon and sink, I spend my days undertaking far more worthwhile ventures, which I was happy to go about doing while my ship was being salvaged.

Small sidenote: My compliments to the harbourmaster. He had The Ascension back up in less than a day!

To clarify though, you are charged with naval assault, not piracy. Unless the Archonate disagrees, this charge should stand as you have clearly outlined the multiple ways in which you chose to attack a registered vessel clearly bearing the my city-state's flag.
