As we gained access to the new levels of Yggdrasil, in the ruins upon the Collar of Mannamot, we were able to meet the Emissaries of the Elemental Lords. From Asahana, Emissary of Sllshya, we were told that the conduits may be restored to proper control if their cores are repaired. In order to repair their cores, we must collect the cores of the lesser elementals from the three other elements and place them in the amphora of the Emissary. It was stressed that it would be a great insult to give the core of their own element to the Emissary. This was relayed by other Emissaries as well. It was also stated that this was our plane's greatest chance of survival.
