Commander Aegoth,
Is such the delusion you live in that you constantly have to claim a nonexistent victory? Our "spirits are shattered"? "Nature has submitted"? Is the red fog surrounding your vile city so thick that it distorts your perception of reality?
For as long as I have been Eleusian, Mhaldor has claimed victory. Victory over Eleusis, victory over Nature. Yet the forests still flourish. The village still flourishes. Our spirits are still high. We have died. So have you. And so the cycle shall continue until your city gives up this pointless attempt at claiming that which cannot be claimed, requesting us to give you that which is not ours to give.
You say Nature has admitted defeat. Yet, stronger than ever, She now manages to fill even the rotted, decrepit land upon which you tread with new life. You say our spirits are shattered, yet all I see is my fellow villagers living peacefully and in harmony with each other, smiling, laughing, enjoying Life. Life, which Nature gifted us with; you would do well to remember this.
I have died fighting you and your people. And I will do so again, and again, and every time I shall return more determined than the last. The Lord of the Underworld shall not have me so long as Eleusis and Nature are threatened, by your people or any other. For every plant you burn down, ten more shall be replanted in it's place. For every life of ours you take, so too shall we take yours.
I ask you, as others have before me, to please explain what you consider a victory. My village still lives. Nature still thrives. The sun still shines. Where is your victory?
Sincerely,
Zakkariah, of Eleusis
