Greetings Sapience,

I come to you this month to bring you a Dragon's foot race on or around the fifth of Aeguary. We will gather at North of New Thera or there abouts about a half day before the race is to begin When we are all gathered, I will hand you all a reminder of where all the places are, and make note of everyone who is participating. The race will take you to various points in the realms, all of them reachable through Gare. Each point has an alternative means of reaching it so non-dragons can participate as well, before those of you who aren't dragon stop reading.

You will need to have visited at least 10 of these 15 places to be considered for the win. There will be a medallion (if the medallions aren't availible we will have another item to use as markers and will announce it at the time of the race) somewhere in the area, you will need to find it, and bring it with you.

The win will be based on the following factors. Time, the first one to the finish line can win the race. Medallions, the more medallions you have the higher your chance of winning, example, runner A has 10 medallions and has made it to the line first, but runner b was 5 minutes behind but has 15 medallions, runner b's time will be cut down, giving him the chance to win the race.

There will be 5 medallions left in each area, one for each of the first 5 people there. I will make a list of the exits at the bottom of the news post. None of the exits will be city related, as there are people that are enemed to early all the cities. At least 10 of the areas are going to be easily accessable to non-dragon adventurers, but you will have to be a dragon to get all 15 quickly.

Now for the small history lesson. In the year 317 Han Tolneth was summoned to Sapience for a wonderful occasion! The first Dragon! Aringar, one of Hashan's own as well as the Dark Father's, gained his dragon form. When he was nearly to the point of Dragonhood, Sarapis, Lord Twilight and several other of the Divine surrounded him, he completed a quest, and gained the experience needed for level 99, thus becoming the first among the Dragons. You can read about this wonderful occasion in EVENTS 84.
