Life, Death, Rebirth

With your recent denouncement of Aodfionn as nothing more than a traitor, and Targossas as a whole, as cowardly, I have to ask just what you mean? To go into a fight of three or so versus twelve is nothing more than utter suicide. Anyone with a brain cell would deem that a lost battle, especially whenever you all decided that because we didn't engage, that you are free to kill our guards.

Whatever thought process went through your head is interesting enough for me to dig further into this. Are you that suicidal that you would charge headlong into territory when you are outnumbered in a fashion that would make Ashtan during the Black Wave weep? If so, I really have to question your sense of preservation, and I clap that you actually do get brought back from death unlike some other poor sods.

Now, to the 'debate' at hand. You say that our beloved cities will fall, because, I don't know, we transgressed upon Nature in some fashion and you got super uppity about it. Most of you claim that we 'tore stone from the earth' and that's a bad thing, yet I see a number of Eleusians with ships. I see a number of them mining and ripping ores and the like from the ground, then proceed to sell them to the highest bidder for a profit.

I implore you to actually take a look at Targossas once in a while in a non-aggressive, non-city-hating manner and find wherein Nature thrives. The river flows through her, fish populating the streams. There is no sewer, akin to Eleusis, and trees and grasslands populate the area heavily. You'll find that Targossas made as minimal impact as it could upon the surrounding area.

The actual matter at hand wherein you talked negatively of Growth, you are correct in that Growth is not about giving up, but Good as a whole seeks to enable Growth by all, and the Growth of Creation by extension. If one grows in a way that enables Good to enact its will easier upon Creation, then that is Growth of Creation as well. Should one grow in a manner such as a Mhaldorian creating a new sword and then slaughtering droves of people with it, that negatively impacts Creation.

Rebuilding does not make one weak, nor does using everything in your arsenal to protect what you hold dear. What makes you weak is preying on the unsuspecting masses and attempting to threaten and make them cower by your 'militaristic supremacy' of vastly outnumbering your opponents. I will not speak on the ideals of Nature beyond that, because admittedly, I am not knowledgeable on it as much as I would like. It just seems like you wish to protect Creation, but only the small sect that fits you at any given moment.

The Dawnspear seeks to stop Chaos, Oblivion, Darkness, and Evil as well, and I earnestly see no reason besides your own hatred for cities, aside from Cyrene because they're the only ones that will really serve you lot regularly, getting in the way of that. We risk life and limb to defend and safeguard Creation. You risk life and limb to protect a small part of it (when it suits your needs).

I do invite you, sometime, to chat with me on the subject in private instead of having a shouting match over this public forum.

Yours truly,
