The Close of a Step

On behalf of historians everywhere, please note that we saw the rise and fall of vile Bal'met not in this past Step in the Dance of the Vault, but the one before.

In the Step that now comes to a close, we have seen tremendous progress the world over. The renewal of the Flame of the World, the return of a Goddess, the growth of a new city-state, the movement of one Great House into a city, the relocation of another. From Tomacula to Tir Murann, Tasur'ke, Moghedu, and Dun Valley, our world and its people are ever changing, and ever will we continue to progress.

But take care in choosing that which guides your own steps. Forward movement need not be toward light and fire, for these things can blind and destroy just as readily as the more sinister powers of the world.
