A challenge

Written by: Lady Melodie Le'Murzen, Arcthyos

It was many years ago, after your father and I ended a hunting trip, that I faced excommunication. Through much hardship and toil, I redeemed myself. Now in the face of an exchange with you, I find myself again caught in the turmoil of disgrace. Whispers on the wind bear the fruit of information that this turn of events was well-recieved within the North. I believe words such as "congratulations" were among them.

It is time actions take the place of words.

Verily Ravensong, I challenge you to face me in a duel to the death, to take place just North of New Thera, precisely two days after the Orphean Serenade. In that time and place, we will discover which of us is able to stand, and which of us will fall. Bring whom you will, but this is a fight between us, and us alone.

No matter my fate, my stance against Chaos and its followers remains the same.

-Lady Melodie Le'Murzen

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Lupar, in the year 642 AF.
