Warrior's Though of the Day

I have found that most people are cowardly at heart. They tend not to
make enemies of those that disagree with them most. Instead, they make
enemies with what they perceive to be the most easily vanquished foe.
The surest way to have no enemies, is to let everyone know that you will
be the worst enemy they could make. The friendly guy shopping in Delos
who is generous to everyone around them is more likely to become
someone's enemy than the rough Knight who sharpens his blades daily.
Yet, people will try to convince you to be friendly and generous at the
exclusion of being rough.
Do not listen to these people. Peace only exists through superior force.
The second you let your guard down, someone will mistake your kindness
for weakness.
That is not to say you should never be kind. Just be selective about who
you are kind to. Make them earn it. No one will feel the need to earn
your affection, if you give it away for free. Make sure your good-will
is a prize of the most coveted kind.
Remember, wars do not start when both parties involved have soldiers.
Wars start when one side believes it can win decisively. Build your
armies, stay at the ready, and you will live in peace. Dismantle your
armies, and preach friendship and kindness, and your kingdom will live
on borrowed time.
I apoligize that this post lacked the normal wit and concise length that
you've all become use to. I just thought that this was an important
point to get across.
