Although it may seem hard in these troubled times to see the spirit of mortalkind evolve towards greatness, it is with some pleasure that I had the opportunity to witness the efforts of two great factions merging together into something perhaps greater than each alone. After months of excruciating diplomacy, nail biting negotiations and hard edged deliberations, the Kharon/Ashtan War has officially ended and something quite unique and extraordinary has arisen from this conflict.

Today, Gijan Gore, Guildmaster and Grandfather of the Temple of the Kharon, made an Oath to the Gods that the Kharon Guild will become an Ashtan guild, joining the Occultist Guild and the Shadowsnake Guild as the resident guilds in Ashtan sworn to protect that great city. As I witnessed the Oath to the Gods, that Oath shall thus bind the Kharon to Ashtan.

Congratulations are due to all concerned, especially to Gijan, Changcoix, Nimos and Mordyval (and many others) who worked diligently to forge that which will bring the greater prosperity to all concerned. I am sure we shall see many celebrated and awe inspiring events to grow from the seeds planted in Ashtan this day.
