Today, I organised a great, stupendous event, that I think many enjoyed.
Now, after being asked by many, I am taking my tour on the road, so to speak.
A little background, we held a combat tournement. We paired up combatants of several different capabilities into even matches, the best one being between Limdul and Mesmer, in which both died within seconds of each other, and Mesmer winning by a mere 2 seconds.
We also offered a certain amount of prize money to each winner.
In order to continue this though, I decided to post some rules, and change a few things.
The next competition will be on sunday. At approximatly noon, high noon, if you would, est. (sorry for the irl times, but wanted to avoid confusion) Any who wish to enter, may do so, just message me with what % of me, in honours you are, your guild, and if you wish to add an additional amount to the prize money.
So far we have gotten our prize money from volunteers. We will continue to seek sponsers, however, we will also be charging a small fee, to enter. The following weight classes are included:
1) Featherweight - 0 to 10% of my rank - fee to enter - 100 gold
2) Bantemweight - 10 to 20% of my rank - fee - 250 gold
3) Welterweight - 20 to 30% my rank - fee - 500 gold
4) Middleweight - 30 to 50% of my rank - fee 750 gold
5) Jr Heavyweight - 50 to 65% of my rank - fee 1000 gold
6) Heavyweight - 65 to 85% of my rank - fee 1000 gold
7) Superheavyweight - 85% and up of my rank - fee 1000 gold
The winner will get the prize and an additional 60% of combined entry fees, loser will get back 20% of entry fees, with 20% of entry fees going towards the promoters costs.
I am hoping to be able to raise enough to build a small ring of contest, and i mean small, to hold our contests in, until then, and much begging from the Gods, we will continue in Delos.
As always, starburst deaths do not count as a victory, must be until final death. Immolation will be granted by the referee, if requested, for an additional insurance charge of 10% of your entry fee, payable up front.
