I write this in response to the many pleas that were lifted up to the heavens that I intercede on behalf of Gaia against the dark workings of My brother Twilight and His cohort-in-crime, Eris. Therefore, after turning My face toward Achaea once more I descended to the mortal plane to oversee what had transpired in My absence. Ironically enough, I found what had poisoned Gaia's mind in large part because of Twilight's effort in draining the Godly essence of the Earthmother cause the 'seed' which began this so long ago to become visible.

By this discovery it became clear that Gaia's actions, while Her own to some extent, were also under the influence an outside agency. This caused much reconsideration by those of us present in the Garden for the Earthmother's fate and more importantly Twilight's plans for the obliteration of the Goddess of Nature. Oneiros, Hermes, and I gathered together in what was once known as 'Gaia's Grove' and joined Our strengths to obliterate this abomination that had so poisoned the being of one of Our own and by Our combined strength purged Her of the seed of evil as well as freed Her from the bonds which Oneiros and I had wrought into being. However, because Twilight still holds the other two bonds, His and Eris', the Earthmother is not completely free and indeed will require much sacrifice on the part of you the mortals so that She will have the essence required to break free of the dark curse that afflicts Her.

Know this as well, mortals. I do not write this because of any sense of having to explain My nor any other God's actions but to let history write truly of the events of this day. I must note however that I find it quite amusing that by Twilight and Eris' actions They have let that which the Earthmother become found and in doing so have set in motion the events that will no doubt soon lead to Her release. Perhaps this can be a lesson learned of the futility of aligning yourself with Darkness, for what does it gain you but frustration as you watch all your plans go up in smoke.
