Kharon vs. Ashtan

I understand you would like Achaea to believe that the slaughter of the citizens of Ashtan was simply a matter of your own personal vendetta and had nothing to do with the Kharon guild as a whole. The simple fact is that I do not buy that spin.

First, you are the guildmaster of the Kharon. As such, your position comes with a certain amount of responsibility, one of which is that you are the figurehead of your guild. Like it or not, your actions are representative of that guild, especially if your actions have such fanatical results as declaring a personal war on an entire city. If you do not wish your personal wars to draw in your guild, then you should either step down as guildmaster or swallow your pride and not start the war. You cannot have your cake and eat it too -- you cannot both be guildmaster and wage private personal wars against entire groups.

Second, even if you believe that you were acting alone, the fact of the matter is that you were fighting along with many other Kharon brethren. You did not stand alone, but with a compadre of Kharon cronies. Although some like Elanta may now deny supporting you in light of the public outcry against the Kharon, we have seen and witnessed your attacks along with your fellow Kharon.

Thus, reasonable people have no choice but to conclude that your war against Ashtan was representative of a Kharon guild war in your role as guildmaster, and to further conclude that this Kharon guild war was supported by your fellow Kharon by the actions they took.

So, if you truly believe your personal war is solely your own, then step down as guildmaster to pursue these personal grievances. Do the Kharon want a guildmaster who puts their guild at risk to pursue his personal vendettas, thus placing his own personal goals above that of his guild? Otherwise, stop trying to weasel out of your role as guildmaster and either lead your guild in its war efforts or conclude this rather sad affair.
