Voices

Many fail to listen
Truly listen
To detect anger and joy
Tis given

But in a voice is more.
.
Through your voice I can hear
many emotions and thoughts
I can hear joy and happiness

When I do its better than
a soft caress.
In your inflections I detect confusion
and fear

Pains me when I hear your voice like this
Sometimes more than you,
For I feel I did wrong

In your quietness whispers I hear regret

Hoping for you to reconsider

No avail.

Yet Silence
is the worst

It embeds itself within me
Like a whips strike
It burns me

True and cruel.

Beg for speach,
Defoiliation of fears
Vanquished Doubts

Oh to rediscover happiness

M. Thelsum

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Sarapin, in the year 291 AF.
