Night has fallen, and the day has yet to rise.

Yet in the dark we see far.

Into past, toward the future.

But the present is shrouded in mystery.

What has been may not always be.

Leave the past where it lies.

Make your future what you wish, not what you dread.

Your present will unfold as it wills.

Forcing it will only bring disappointment.

But that doesn't mean you can't guide it.

Life and especially love is not some simple path.

It twists and turns, goes down dark allies.

Runs into almost insurmountable odds, and yet somehow.

Still finds a way to go on.

So must you.

Otherwise all those doubts in you mind have won the battle before you even tried.

Even if it looks hopeless, pointless to go on.

Even if you have to pull back to simply existing for a while to get through it all.

Just remember that one day, you'll come out the other side.

To become what you wish, you must first choose to rise.

Take back the Present and be present for your life.
