A Wonderful Union of Two

Today, my heart is full in ways
No simple words could rightly raise.
For Yel, my daughter, bright and dear,
Has found a love to hold so near.
And standing there beside her, fair,
Was Phyr, with steadfast, loving care.
Not as a passing dream or song,
But as the one who did belong.
What grace it is, what joy to see
The woman Yel was meant to be,
Now joined with one whose hand she takes
With all the hope that marriage makes.
There is a quiet in such things,
A sacred warmth the moment brings.
Two souls who found, through all life's tide,
A home at last in one another's side.
And though a parent's heart may ache
At every growing step they take,
It aches today in sweetest pride,
To see my daughter as a bride.
So let this day be blessed and bright,
With gentle peace and golden light.
Let love be kind, enduring, true,
In all the years that wait for you.
Yel, beloved, and Phyr, now one,
May joy attend you with the sun.
May laughter fill the days ahead,
And grace be woven where you tread.
And may your home be warm and wide,
With trust and tenderness inside.
A place where both your spirits rest,
And each is known, and each is blessed.
Penned by my hand on the 13th of Chronos, in the year 1002 AF.
