NOTE: This is not my poem. This was poem that Lord Haskor had commissioned by Othival after what could generously be described as a duel between myself and Lord Haskor.
The Dragon Who Attempted to Eat a God
In New Thera's square two champions met,
Where Archaosa swore kawhe was best.
But Haskor, god of heroes, would not let
The matter go, for tea outshone the rest.
The tea drinkers had won the field that day,
But she refused to bow and walk away.
She opened wide her jaws and charged the fray,
And tried to swallow Haskor where he stood.
He met her with the fury of the blessed,
Then drove her back and laid her there to rest.
Yet bowed to her, for she had passed the test
Of courage tried, as every hero must.
So sing of her who could not swallow Pride, who opened wide her jaws and boldly tried.
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Valnuary, in the year 1002 AF.
