Firestarter, they wonder at the glow -
Starlight darting swift through shadowy groves.
I see the ashes on your cuffs, a smile sure and slow,
Trailing ghosts that smoulder in their burial clothes.

I linger where your warmth lies captured in stone,
Pressing yearning hands to the places you've been.
Your sins I count true though my face is unknown,
Your accomplice past nightfall, where morals grow thin.



Penned by my hand on the 7th of Miraman, in the year 997 AF.
