The Score -- Happy 100th Birthday!

Written by: Commodore Stefana Vorondil
Date: Monday, August 19th, 2019
Addressed to: Admiral Laedha Vorondil, Mountain Musician

Life once was like a stodgy show
Performed upon an empty stage
The written word without a page
A river that could not quite flow
Before I learned what now I know.
For worlds of those whom you adore
Just seem to glimmer that much more
Even mandolin's poetry
And graceful swan's fine balladry
Are only verse, you are the score.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Aeguary, in the year 808 AF.
