A Parting of Sweet Sorrow

Written by: Lady Kyrra de Wydd, the Storm Maiden

A breath was barely taken
From the beginning until the end
Her world of vibrant colour
Became pastel once again

The days would pass more slowly
Her sun rose and set with him
A parting of sweet sorrow
From both a lover and a friend

The precious gift of memories
Perhaps the greatest gift of all
He had restored her faith in love
Before departing forever more

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Scarlatan, in the year 745 AF.
