Stingers

One can fix what they know is broken
But one cannot fix what they never had
You act like warnings were unspoken
And you're embellishing just a tad

Well perhaps I am this monster
One that is chained to guilt and sin
And perhaps I came to conquer
Catching prey in lies I spin

But there are two sides to every coin
And more gray than black and white
So before you find a mob and join
Think twice, you'll see I'm right

For every fiction needs a villain
And that mantle doesn't fit
You found court to pass my guilt in
One where judges can't acquit

So I send flowers with my sympathy
But I warn that opinion is peculiar
Because despite well known deficiency
Truth rises from waspish rumour

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Lupar, in the year 741 AF.
