Time

"Tomorrow Never Comes"
So as I stand waiting for tomorrow,
I ponder this enigmatic thing,
For tomorrow never comes,
For it will always be today,
Tomorrow never lives nor dies nor lies,
And why?
Because tomorrow lives in not,
Like unto our dreams,
They exist yet don't,
Only as perceptions of our mind like time,
Thoughts of our lethargic minds as well as our conscience being,
Time exists in reality,
But we can never taste nor touch nor smell nor hear nor see time,
But it is there,
Everywhere,
But as what?
The very thing I wish to be,
But a thing it is not,
And this is why I am like unto time,
As I am a paradox like time,
For can you really perceive me as me?
I think not,
for you are you and I am me and we perceive what our minds tell us,
Though us we are,
we find another paradox of not,
Like time and today and forever,
You are you,
And I am me,
But time is he,
And again he is what I wish to be,
For he has power over all,
Yet none at all,
As he exists in not,
Letting us live and die,
See today and yesterday,
Letting us be what is, not what is not,
For time is today,
Yesterday,
And tomorrow,
And again I envy time as tomorrow never comes nor lives nor dies.
