Nostalgia

A flowering vine climbs over old stone walls
What wonders has this old cathedral seen
Imagine myriad echoes through its halls
Old tunes played for parishioners serene
The violet flowers mask ancient reliefs
A chronicle of legends and beliefs
A place of solace, a true scholar's home
A place of rest for weary travellers' bones
Respect begets respect, do not forget
Else you will find her doors unwelcoming
If you're considerate, free your voice and sing!
For nothing's left, just memories and regrets.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Daedalan, in the year 644 AF.
