(Not from the history of Achaea, but just a fantasy piece. A prince is
slain by his traitorous uncle. The princes lover, the lady Ariente,
kills two assassins, but the castle is compromised. She calls to
Argentis, a king of Unicorn, to save her.)
Ariente: The flight from Caer Ante
Smooth silver-flanked, brave moonlights steed,
Your proud head raised on high.
Immortal prince of all your kind,
I pray, to me, you fly.
The prince I loved, my brave sweet lord,
Now lies in Deaths dark sleep.
So I must flee to forests depths,
And, in their safety, weep.
To use a sword and dagger,
My prince had taught me well,
And when the traitors came for me,
They fought.. and fighting.. fell.
But now my princes enemies
Are on the castle walls.
I see them searching for me,
And I hear their hunting calls.
So I sing sweet eldritch song,
To reach through time and space
And bring you, my salvation,
Across the sea to race.
Smooth silver-flanked, brave moonlights steed
Your proud head raised on high.
For the love you bore my Love,
I pray, to me, you fly.
