Trekking through the inhospitable tundra on an unlikely quest, a group of adventurous Cyrenians accompanied a new acquaintance into the peaks of Anake's Elbow. Guided by the self-proclaimed "wildlife expert", Teever Whynne, the group pursued a rumour more than a promise: something exceedingly cold-blooded lurking within the cracks and crevices of the icy summits.
Ruckus took the lead, hauling a unique totem resembling an immense tuning fork, and taking care not to fuse fingers to the frigid metallic column at hand as he struck a path towards Riagath. Braving the treacherous mountain ridge at the summit, the group finally reached their uncharted destination. The intrepid Runewarden drove the steel pillar deep into a rocky fissure and stepped back as the air thrummed with quiet energy.
Stepping forward, Neugierig and Milabar, seasoned bards, lifted their voices and tuned their pitch with practiced precision, adjusting their harmonies to match the gleaming totem. A deep, aural resonance surged through the implement, amplifying the vibrations and sending them coursing into the bedrock below. Pebbles and loose rocks trembled, leaping and skittering underfoot as the mountain itself responded.
Suddenly, slithering shapes flickered at the edge of sight, and the adventurers sprang into action, eager to claim their prize. The icy serpents moved with uncanny speed, slipping through grasping hands and evading every initial attempt at capture. Still, the relentless vibrations lured more of the creatures from their subterranean lairs. With sharp reflexes and steady hands, a few adventurers outmatched the elusive snakes, seizing their writhing quarry at last, with Inuad proudly presenting the first catch of the day.
What began as a mere rumour became a triumph of skill and perseverance. Over the next few months, numerous Cyrenians honed their techniques, braving elements and avalanches in their quest to expand the captive collection of the rare snakes. At last, Teever stood before the city of Cyrene, beaming with accomplishment as he unveiled the fruits of their labour, and her people welcomed the once-mythic reptiles as loyal companions to their own Serpents-- a niveous legacy of their adventure into the wilds.

Summary:
Under the guidance of wildlife expert Teever Wynne, Cyrene successfully coaxed a new serpent species from the icy heights of Anake's Elbow. The city now holds sole dominion over the breeding and care of the elusive niveous lanceheads.
