The recent troubles with Mhaldor and Moghedu all started quite
innocently. A man named Gack went to Mhaldor to set up a slaving
business, he was greeted with open arms and so slavery commenced.

Many were the raids by Mhaldor citizens into the fortress of Moghedu,
defying the Mhunna and stealing away the adolescent men of Moghedu to
work on the construction of Mhaldor.

Time passed with Mhaldor feeling very pleased with their new profitable
business agreement with Gack until mhun scouts were spotted on the
island searching for their young men and scouting the area on the orders
of the great Mhunna who was furious at the slave raids.

The Mhaldorian army quickly mustered to meet this threat and slaughtered
the scouts without mercy. Seeking reprisal, the evil force swept into
Moghedu killing all in their path. However the cunning Mhunna had
ordered an attack of his own, many of his troops dug a short tunnel and
entered the city and took their revenge on all that they could find.

Days passed with an uneasy standoff between the two forces but Mhaldor
took the inititive, leading a large force into the heart of Moghedu and
made straight for the Mhunna intent on murder. The Mhunna simply laughed
at them stating he had a surprise for his evil enemies. With those
words, Gack could be heard screaming about mhun invaders, a scream that
was abruptly cut short.

Scouts were immediately dispatched to Mhaldor but no trace of Gack could
be found. Several mhun of Sapience had also rallied to the Mhunna
bringing allies from many parts of the world. With fury, the forces of
Mhaldor attacked the Mhunna and his bodyguards but to no avail, they
were quickly repulsed.

The miserable slaver was brought before the Mhunna and beaten repeatedly
but he would not divulge the whereabouts of the stolen young men so the
Mhunna ordered his execution at dawn and locked him in his dark vault.

Meanwhile the forces of evil had rallied and attacked Moghedu and her
allies again, once more they were badly mauled and retired to lick their
wounds and rethink their strategy. Many hours passed with much insults
and duel challenges but Mhaldor was no nearer to freeing their citizen
nor would they return the adolescent mhun.

The great Mhunna had decided to retire for the evening and handed his
vault key to the Captain of his guard to watch over the prisoner.

Mhaldor forces alerted by spies gained this information and immediately
acted upon it, a small group infiltrated moghedu and killed the Captain.
Gaining the key, they quickly located Gack and freed him although the
alarm had been raised and they were under attack every step of the way.

When the vault door was open, forces of both sides rushed in and Gack
was slaughtered. His body was taken by Mhaldor back to the Baelgrim
fortress, when he was lain upon the hard ground, he opened his eyes with
a wide smile and stated that he had been playing dead, a trick he
learned long ago as a lowly soldier. He then proceeded to hand over the
treasury of Moghedu which he had been patiently picking up while he was
a prisoner.

The Mhunna will be furious at the loss.
