Blackrock Clan and the Underlake

A new clan of dwarves emerged in recent days, proving to be an
interesting breed indeed! Proclaiming an undying loyalty to the Lord
Sartan and his teachings, they arrived on the scene amidst turmoil both
geological and theological.

The very earth cracked, and steam flumed out, as a large fissue opened
up near Mhaldor allowing entry into the innards of the mountain. Several
vibrant voices rang out of the newly formed crevice, led by the evil
priestess Grima Flameforge who urged the surface dwellers to find them.
Many began searching the continent for the defiant clan, but the
entrance to the Blackrock clan's long-hidden home remained a mystery.

First to discover the Blackrock Halls was Adanedhel. He was the also the
first to find the dwarves' lord, Barak D'Nichliz, and to offer him
greetings. Numerous other parties arrived, as two delegations stepped
forth to assume the lead roles in the negotiations with the rediscovered
clan. A viceroy of Mhaldor, Darknight, offered the agreement for future
discussions to pursue an alliance between the city and their new dwarven
neighbors. The followers of Lord Phaestus, led in talks by Sir Spetum,
offered the opening of communication between the reclusive dwarves and
their kin around the realms. Little headway was made by the followers of
Lord Phaestus, as Barak proclaimed their loyalty to Lord Sartan claiming
that Lord Phaestus had betrayed them by dropping a mountain on their
home.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Lupar, in the year 357 AF.
