Hello everyone,

Thanks to Matt being ahead of his time in the 90's, Achaea has always tried to be inclusive to people of all ethnicities, genders, and sexualities. It's true that sometimes we have failed and had to correct course, and it's also true that as times have changed, what was once progressive policy can also fall behind.

To that end, from now on we are going to be MUCH harsher on all manner of OOC slurs and hate speech. Per HELP ADMIN PENALTIES, your first offence will now be a minimum 30 day shrub, zero tolerance.

There is no excuse in 2025 to belittle people with OOC references to gender, race, or orientation and we see no reason to give anyone using these terms or language the benefit of the doubt.

Please be proactive in reporting hate speech to us via the ISSUE command. We really cannot watch everything at once and we can't act on what we don't see (we don't actually want to watch all your communications by default, and we don't).
