Before we get into all the April promotion fun, we hope that all of our antipodean residents and families are safe and sound after the storms that have been sweeping the region. As if the spiders, kangaroos, and dropbears weren't enough!

Maybe the this will help take the weather and imminent doom off your minds!

For the next 30 days lesson packages will be on sale on the website, and so will the infamous globes of shifting continents!

Within the globes you'll find some familiar items:
- Talisman Caches (See Below)
- Credits
- Ice figurines
- Artefacts
- Assembly kit plus a Mayan Crown or talisman cache
- Tradeskill slots or alternative prizes if you already have 6+
- A horticulturist's crate containing a pot of flourishing tulips. This colourful and floral addition will bring a touch of spring to any house, cabin, or home. This is part of the Flora collection.
- Artefact discount vouchers
- Humgii racetrack tickets
- Various small artefacts.
- Vials with elixir of the lucky
- Statistic altering artefacts
- Artefact upgrade credits

* There will also be a special prize for every 500 globes opened.
* There is a chance for a talisman piece cache with all credit prizes and various other prizes.
* There is a rare chance for a cache to be awarded with every opened globe in addition to what you'd get normally.

Talisman Caches!

The talisman caches can be opened for two sets this month. OPEN CACHE FOR DEATH or OPEN CACHE FOR CITIES.

You all know what's in the Death talisman set, (TALISMAN SET DEATH if you don't) so if you need that last crucible piece, or dearly want the sycophantic shoulder cape, April's your chance!

Each of the Cities talismans is themed for one of the factional cities in Achaea!

- An unappetising biscuit - Themed for Cyrene (although not in flavou
r) the consumption of this biscuit will instantly sober you up. Much like certain Senate meetings, so we've heard. This biscuit is resetting.

- A tumbleweed - Themed for the village in the trees.
PLANT TUMBLEWEED in a room and this tumbleweed has a chance to snarl the ankles of all who enter, casting them unceremoniously to the ground. Each time it is hit, there is a chance for the weed to be uprooted. If the tumbleweed is uprooted it will go on cooldown.

- A celescope - Mastery of science and observation of the stars has lead the researchers of Hashan to come up with this ingenious device. All who die and return via the grace of the stars leave a trace upon the land, and this celescope can detect it.
CONSTELLATE in a room to collect the remnants of celestial energy. Once the celescope is fully charged it will protect you on your next starburst death to a denizen, making it so you retain all of your defences on revival.
Note that this -does- work vs org loyal denizens such as guards, but not against adventurer loyal denizens such as woodlore animals.

- A pair of wraith shackles - None may easily escape the clutches of the wraiths of Evil, and it is no less true with these imbued shackles.
CLAP SHACKLES ON <target> and their rate of movement will be significantly reduced for the next 30 seconds.
Once the shackles fall off that person is immune from shackling for a further 30 seconds, and the set of shackles used shall not be useable for 5 minutes.

- An alabaster urn - Sacrifice and martyrdom, just two of the cornerstones of the faithful of the Dawnspear, let their example be an inspiration to you.
PAINT <urn> ON <beneficiary> and claim their next death as your own.
When your beneficiary next reaches the threshold of death they will be restored to half life and half mana with all previous defences intact, and you will take their place on a visit to the Curator of Death.
If you perish in this fashion you will not be resurrected by starburst or other effects, neither will you be a soul.
You will not die to protect someone if you are not in the same room when they fall in battle.
After someone has died to protect you no-one else may for a time, and only one person may protect someone at any one time (and said person may only protect one person at a time).
You must be mutual allies with the person you are painting and there is a cooldown on usage per urn in addition to per target limitations. Per target cooldown is 30 minutes, general urn cooldown is 10 minutes.
A transferred death does not confer any additional RP reasoning for retribution, you are merely a vessel, much like a mark is merely a sword.
If you take a death for someone, any contracts/bounties/writs against you will be fulfilled. (Provided the person who causes your death holds the contract/bounty/writ.)

- A broken musicbox - The discordant chaos of chords that play from this fractured instrument will reduce a resistance upon all who remain.
WIND MUSICBOX to setup and place this musicbox, it will then remain in the room for 5 minutes before it returns to its owner's inventory.
The "song's" effect cycles, much like the Bard's Anthem, but far less pleasant.

Head over to achaea.com/credits to get your lessons and your globes of shifting continents today!

And watch out, pranksters and fools abound on this day.
