Tmotes have just undergone a major overhaul, with the intent of
improving their functionality. Unfortunately, this means you will no
longer be able to use the same syntax you would for a regular emote, but
this will insure your tmote comes out exactly as you intend to all
witnessing parties.
To target players, you will now want to use the following syntax within
your tmotes: $he, $his, $him, $name. Each word will translate to the
following for the target and witness.
    Use Target Witnesses
    -----------------------
    $he you he/she
    $his your his/her
    $him you him/her
    $name you name
You may also use 's similar to how you would in a regular emote to start
the emote with Emoter's, as well as when you target via $name. The
target will either see your or yours depending on its location within
the sentence, while everyone else will see Name's.
Using this syntax, you can reference any number of players in your room
to tmote to. Pronouns will default to the last person targeted, though a
specific target can be specified by appending a number following the
pronoun where the number represents the nth person you've targeted. When
targeting a player via name, that person will always be set as your
target.
If Romeo were to do the following:
Example: TMOTE smiles at $juliet and $Tecton, and runs his hand through
$his1 hair.
Juliet sees: Romeo smiles at you and Tecton, and runs his hand through
your hair.
Tecton sees: Romeo smiles at Juliet and You, and runs his hand through
her hair.
Everyone else sees: Romeo smiles at Juliet and Tecton, and runs his hand
through her hair.
Should you desire, targeted pronouns may be used prior to the name of
the player they're associated with first being targeted. In this case,
their pronoun must always be followed by a number. Also, any text
following the number (or lack thereof) will be included within the word.
So if the 3rd player targeted was male, $him3, would translate to "you,"
and "him,".
As part of this change, we have also added in the same prepending
functionality seen in regular emotes. The same restrictions apply for
tmotes, so no targeted pronouns may be used within them. The syntax is
the same, simply use "++" followed by the text you wish to prepend at
the end of the tmote.
As always, if you come across any bugs with this, please submit a BUG
report with as much detail as possible.
