Various interesting things have been introduced or changed recently!
Ships can now purchase bait tanks that hold (surprise!) bait and will
slow the decay of said bait.

Casting your line from a ship now allows for certain variants -
CAST LINE LONG|MEDIUM|SHORT - longer casts have a better chance of
getting stronger strikes, but also leave you closer to the end of your
line, which is now rather more than 400 feet. The shorter casts also
take a bit less time, in terms of balance.

Fishing from ships can now be done anywhere that is not indoors.

The power and effectiveness of reeling has been tweaked several times,
along with the ability of fish to flee and escape. Strength is now
a minor factor in both casting distance and ability to reel these
gargantuan fish - some almost 400 pounds, with price-tags to match!
